Recently, a truck filled with donations from Guoda Company employees slowly drove into the courtyard of the Zhaoyuan Civil Affairs Bureau. The truck carried over 1500 coats and blankets donated by the company's staff for disaster victims and those in need. This year, some parts of China suffered from natural disasters, causing difficulties for people's lives and work. With winter approaching, disaster victims face a severe shortage of winter clothing. To help those in need in disaster and poverty-stricken areas to safely get through the winter, Guoda Company actively responded to the call of the municipal Party committee and government, and carefully organized this donation activity. Upon hearing the news of the donation drive, many staff members generously donated, eager to contribute. Everyone brought out their new coats and blankets to donate; some even brought leather jackets and down jackets. Some donated one or two items, while others donated five or six. Some employees, even while off-duty, rushed back home to deliver several of their own seldom-worn clothes to the staff, using their actions to bring warmth to disaster victims and those in need. In just a short morning, the company collected over 1500 items, including coats, trousers, blankets, sweaters, and other clothing. After simple sorting and cataloging, all donations will be delivered to those in need and disaster victims by the Zhaoyuan Civil Affairs Bureau. |
