On the morning of December 1, 2014, the 2014 Annual Interim Board Meeting of Yantai Guoda Saffina High-tech Environmental Refining Co., Ltd. was successfully held in the second-floor meeting room of Guoda Company. The main attendees included: Mr. Xu Yongxiang, Chairman; Mr. Yin Ruixue, Director; Mr. Martin Bousa, Director; Mr. Sergey Medvedev, Chairman of the Yekaterinburg Non-ferrous Metal Processing Plant in Russia; Mr. Denis Borovkov, General Manager; Mr. Alexander Andreev, Commercial Manager; Mr. Sun Haofei, Deputy General Manager of Guoda Company; Mr. Cao Yongchao, Assistant General Manager; Mr. Zhang Shoude, Deputy Plant Manager; and Ms. Wang Xiaomei, Translator.
Mr. Sergey Medvedev, Chairman of the Yekaterinburg Non-ferrous Metal Processing Plant in Russia, formally informed Mr. Xu Yongxiang, Chairman of Guoda Company, about the acquisition of Saffina Company in Czech Republic by the Russian RENOVA Group. Mr. Xu expressed written approval of the acquisition and welcomed the Russian RENOVA Group as an indirect shareholder of Guoda Saffina Company.
During the meeting, the attending directors unanimously agreed to appoint Mr. Alexander Andreev as a director of Guoda Saffina Company, and Mr. Tomas Plachy will no longer serve as a director of Guoda Saffina Company.
The meeting conducted in-depth research on the investment and construction of the platinum-rhodium perforated plate project and platinum refining for Guoda Saffina Company; exchanged views on the economic operation of Guoda Saffina Company from January to October; and discussed cooperation with Guoda Company in gold concentrate and other potential areas of cooperation. The meeting decided to hold the 2015 annual board meeting at Guoda Company at the end of January 2015 to discuss in detail the economic operation in 2014 and the 2015 financial budget.
After the meeting agenda, Chairman Xu Yongxiang summarized the meeting and put forward three requirements: First, to carry out research and development of 99.999% high-purity gold production, master production technology, lay the foundation for future production and sales, and enhance the company's reputation; second, to carry out production research and development and market research of the silver powder project, striving to achieve production and sales next year and increase the company's economic benefits; third, to further conduct market research on the platinum-rhodium perforated plate project, and invite Russian market personnel to conduct joint research if necessary, to provide guidance for project construction decision-making.
The successful convening of this board meeting has pointed out the direction for Guoda Saffina Company to develop new industrial sectors and the next work focus, and laid the foundation for the company's sustainable development.
